Mountain unicycling
As if riding a unicycle wasn’t hard enough, someone came up with the idea of riding up and down a mountain. The Mountain Unicycle events recognized by the International Unicycle Federation are cross-country, uphill, and downhill, with the possibility of a North Shore descent.
Chess Boxing
A crazy hybrid of two completely different sports, Boxing Chess is exactly what it sounds like – a combination of chess and boxing. This unusual sport was brought to life in 2003 by Dutch artist Lepe Rubingh, who was inspired by a 1992 science fiction novel.
