MONACO-VS-OLYMPIQUE-MARSEILLE-26-january-2014-re
as-monaco

While the president of Colombia visited Falcao in the hospital after his surgery, AS Monaco was facing Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1. Monaco did win, but Marseille didn’t manage to score and we lost the bet placed on them with odds from Ladbrokes.

The hosts moved up in the Ligue 1 table to be just three points of Paris Saint Germain, and passed the most important test posed upon them by the press, showing they can cope without Radamel Falcao. Monaco’s players wore t-shirts supporting their teammate, who watched the match from the confines of his hospital room.

Germain scored on the 41 minute after a pass from Moutinho that ended in the right corner of Mandanda’s goal, and Riviere closed the scoring table on the 57th minute, and dedicated his goal to Falcao. Monaco is up next against Lorient and then the big match of this season against PSG, which could end up good for them considering the form they are sporting now.

Marseille on the other hand, is on the 9th place in the table and is out of all Cup competitions available. This was their third consecutive defeat after the horror elimination from Coupe de France. Gignac was the one with the chances to score for Marseille, especially in the dying minutes of the match when he thought he narrowly escaped being in the offside and closed on Subasic, but the flag was actually raised by the assistant referee.

Result: bet lost with odds from Ladbrokes
