We have finally reached EURO 2020 after many great matches! The Czech Republic will face Denmark on 3 Jul 2021 at Baku Olympic Stadium stadium, Azerbaijan. Both these teams will give their all to go to the semi-finals, even if their overall performance in the tournament is debatable. The Czech Republic had a good start with winning by 2-0 against Scotland. Sadly, things did not go so well for them in their next 2 games; they had a 1-1 draw against Croatia and a 0-1 loss against England. Less than ideal, but it was enough to get them 3rd place in their group and a place at the quarter-finals.

Denmark on the other hand did not have such a good start. In their opening they lost by 0-1 against Finland, followed by another loss by 1-2 against Belgium. Finally, they had a single victory against Russia by 1-4, which was enough to get them 2nd place in Group B and a place at the knock-out stages.

Both teams are eager to reach the next stage of the competition. Denmark scored 8 goals in their last 2 matches and the Czech Republic is nothing to scoff at either, so can expect to see over 2 goals scored here.

Both these teams are here as a surprise, and it could be argued that they are at the bottom of the barrel for the quarter-finals group in a way. That being said, both teams want to prove they belong here and the match ending in a draw is very possible.
