De Graafschap vs. ADO Den Haag

Another interesting game in Eredivisie today, and another opportunity for a bet 🙂 ADO Den Haag was really profitable for me last weekend when I won 4.65 units thanks to their victory over NEC Nijmegen. And I’m going to support them today too.
De Graafschap is a team from Doetinchem in the east of the Netherlands, currently ranked 14th in Eredivisie. They managed to stay clear of relegation following their victory last weekend with 2-1 against Willem II. However here I tend to agree with many sportsbettors that it wasn’t really a deserved victory. But this is football, and I’ll call that a victory.
The team is 10 points ahead of Excelsior, but they shouldn’t count on that since in their last game against Willem II they didn’t really play anything. An ugly match to watch. Nevertheless, they could count on some important statistics ahead of today’s game: their home record is really good: 5 wins, 6 draws and only 2 defeats this season. Plus, they did sneak a point from PSV Eindhoven. In the last 6 games at home they were unbeaten, it is true. But they haven’t faced opponents like ADO Den Haag, and they have a lot of players absent today: Saeijs, Buijs, Hersi, Fraenkel, Wormgoor and Jungschlaeger.
ADO Den Haag, on the other hand, has more things to be proud of: they come after a well-deserved win at home against NEC Nijmegen, score 5-1! (extra, extra, read all about it!), they’re currently ranked 5th in Eredivisie and this place takes them in the Europa League play-offs. They’re just one point behind AZ Alkmaar (4th), whose plays ensures the direct participation in the Europa League. And since they’ll face Ajax next weekend in The Hague, they really want to win today.
Statistics-wise, ADO Den Haag’s away results look like this: 5 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats. That doesn’t look like much, certainly not as impressive as De Graafschap’s home results, but unlike their opponents, ADO Den Haag has a full squad to choose from today! And let me tell you something: last weekend’s victory against NEC Nijmegen really brought the morale back in van den Brom’s squad, after the team previously drew against Feyenoord (surprisingly ranked 13th this season, so no excuses for drawing here) and lost to NAC Breda (11th in Eredivisie) the week before.
I’m confident on ADO Den Haag winning this game. They have the right motivation, the right morale and easy opponents. I’m staking 3 units on an away victory at 2.3 odds on Bet365.
