FULHAM-Vs-CHELSEA-1-march-2014-recap

Chelsea has emerged as title favorites after a 1-3 win over the last placed Fulham, who looks further and further away from regaining a salvage ticket. Our combo bet with William Hill on both teams to score and Chelsea to win also paid off which goes to show that even though they are the current leaders The Blues have some issues they need to work on.

Fulham was hit by bad luck ever since the match started when Hangeland clashed with one of his own and hit the ground really hard. After his inability to continue and his subsequent substitution Fulham’s defense was all over the place, just not where Stekelenburg needed them to be. Strangely enough the one Chelsea player who doesn’t usually have an occasion until late in the second half, Fernando Torres, failed to convert an one on one goal chance.

Jose Mourinho kept his cool during the break gave his team the cold shoulder, and Chelsea went into the second half without any words of advice from the technician. This strategy turned out to be a winning one as the visitors opened the score on the 51 minute when Hazard set up a perfect shot for Andre Schürrle. Torres failed again on the 58th minute, and Hazard set up another Andre Schürrle goal on the 65th minute.

A few minutes later, Fernando Torres did manage to do something right and assisted Andre Schürrle in completing his hat-trick on the 68th minute before Fulham managed to score their consolation goal on the 74th minute.

Result: +8,8 units, bet won
