GENOA-VS-INTERNAZIONALE-19-january-2014-recap

This Sunday, Internazionale Milano made another step in the wrong direction that might take them further away from Europa League. We placed a bet with TitanBet on Inter to win, and we lost it as Genoa extended their unbeaten home record, while Inter extended their away defeats to five straight matches.

The game was heading towards a deserved draw, with chances on both sides to open the score. Inter looked much more confident, but a lot was missed because of the weather and the puddles of water formed on the pitch. Esteban Cambiasso received a good pass, but Mattia Perin saved the shot without too many problems. A few minutes after, Diego Milito sent the ball over the goalline, and Gilardino lost the duel with Handanovic because of the pitch.

Antonelli sealed the deal on the 83 minute, when he found himself alone in Inter’s box so Handanovic couldn’t stop the goal that was going to be the only one in the match. It was a strange and definitely rare win for Genoa against Inter, one that they will probably look back on with a smile on their face considering the weather and the opponent they had, an Inter that not only didn’t win yet in 2014, but also in their last 8 matches.

Result: bet lost with odds from Titan Bet
