Inter Milan vs. Juventus

Friday, March 29th 2013, 16:00 CET

In wake of Saturday’s game between two of Italy’s biggest teams, William Hill offers the best odds there is on the market. The clash at Giuseppe Meazza will find Juventus out for revenge, as the previous match between the two ended up with Internazionale’s win and Juventus’ defeat for the first time in a season.

Inter finds itself on the fifth place, and are facing the possibility of not qualifying for the Champions League next season as their latest attempts to catch up with the “big four” ended with a defeat against Bologna on the 10th of March. Unlike the previous game, Inter will act as hosts to Juve, and some of the best Seria A predictions foresee them as highly likely to give Juventus another upset.

Juventus on the other hand are on top of the table, and are still chasing their goal to become this year’s champions. Even without 13 players busy with their national team, they are still taking this game as seriously as possible. Antonio Conte has no suspensions for his team’s game against Internazionale, though he has two players who were cautioned in Bologna, Federico Peluso and Arturo Vidal. Giorgio Chiellini, Paolo De Ceglie, Alessandro Matri and Andrea Pirlo have a yellow card and are one left of an automatic one match ban. Meanwhile, Juan Jesus from Inter will serve his suspension against Bianconeri.

During their last 7 head to head games, Juventus and Inter share 3 wins each and one game ended with a draw. Inter managed to score 44 goals, concede 37 and win 14 games in this year’s Serie A. With an average of 7 clean sheets this season Inter is poised to show a good game.  Juventus on the other hand, had an average of 14 clean sheets, and up until their biggest defeat this season they had a streak of 49 games of being unbeaten.

Seeing as this may end up being a game of glory above anything else, and Juventus must test drive its squad for the game against Bayern next week, this may end up being one spectacular game.

I will bet 6 units on Juventus at 2.25, odds taken from William Hill.

Juventus to win at 2.25.
