Inter Milan vs. Atalanta
Sunday, April 7th 2013, 20:45 CET
Inter Milan have all the reasons to feel angry and disappointed about their latest performance from Sunday in Serie A. They managed somehow to lose 4-3 to Atalanta after leading 3-1, with less than half an hour remaining. This is really hard to believe, especially for a team that is considered to be highly professional. Inter’s defeat also made me lose the 7 units I placed on their victory at Betfair.
Striker Tommaso Rocchi made the most of a peculiar start for Inter by putting the hosts ahead in the 43rd minute. However, in the second half it was a situation of tit-for-tat, as both teams went on a 20-minute six-goal scoring spree.
the 56th minute, Giacomo Bonventura raised the level for Atalanta, only for Ricardo Alvarez to restore the lead a minute later. After four minutes, Alvarez struck again and offered Inter an advantage of two goals. In the 65th minute, Denis from Atalanta reduced the difference on the scoring table from the penalty spot, and six minutes later he scored his second, giving Atalanta a shock 4-3 lead. There was a point when Inter could have reestablished the balance again with the help of Andrea Ranocchia; but the defender somehow skewed the ball too wide and high.
After this result, Inter Milan are still on the third spot in the table, four points behind title-challengers Napoli, and 13 points behind leaders Juventus.
Result:-7 units, bet lost
