Osasuna vs. Real Madrid

Wednesday, January 12th 2013, 11:00 CET

The Spanish football teams Osasuna and Real Madrid are going to meet on the 12th of January in the Spanish Premier League.

Ronaldo from Real Madrid picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on Sunday, when he fouled Carlos Vela from Real Sociedad from behind. This led to his actual suspension for the match that is going to take place on Saturday against Osasuna. That time, the Portuguese team scored two goals and therefore managed to secure a 4-3 win of Madrid against Basque.

On the other hand, Gonzalo Higuain from Madrid returns after a two-month injury layoff, so it is possible that Argentina’s striker will fill in for Ronaldo in the game that is going to take place next week at Pamplona.

Even if Real Madrid is the clear favorite at winning this match, they have lost one of their last three matches with Osasuna. Moreover, Osasuna are in their six-match unbeaten run in La Liga. The last two confrontations between the teams proved to be a real humiliation for Osasuna, who lost with a 5-1 score on the 31st of March 2012 and with 7-1 on the 6th of November.

All in all, I am going to place a bet on Real Madrid’s victory. I place 10 units at 1.45. The odds I used are from Bwin.

Real Madrid to win at 1.45.

  1. Can’t believe that! The result of this match should have been so clear…I lost a significant amount of money placing on Real’s victory…that was because I was so sure of the result…and so happy because of the odds I found on Bet365.

    • I totally agree with you…when I saw this match scheduled, I thought the odds for Real’s victory would be maximum 1.20 (I mean the best odds)…and I was glad to see they were a bit higher. I am speechless.
