Sunderland vs. Everton

What a great name for a stadium does Sunderland have? This Saturday, Stadium of Light sees the clash between a team chasing European dreams, and one that does its best to avoid relegation, and bwin offers odds that can’t be matched. Sunderland is on 15th place in Premiere League, with the same amount of points as Stoke City and Aston Villa, but having the advantage on goals seeing their latest victory.

Newcastle crumbled at home when Sunderland beat them with a resounding 3-0 score, nobody saw that coming, and I’m sure not even Sunderland! Still, they saw an opportunity and they seized it. Sessegnon’s strike gave the visitors the lead, and then Adam Johnson and David Vaughn secured a win that moved the team 3 points clear of the relegation zone. The hosts tried to fight back, as Cisse tried to pierce the net twice, but was denied by Simon Mignolet.

Everton comes also out of a victory, but against a team that is already relegated. Queens Park Rangers (QPR) couldn’t resist attacks and conceded a 2-0 victory. Darron Gibson and Victor Anichebe secured three points for Everton, who are still on the quest for a Europa league spot, and finds itself 3 points away from Tottenham. Everton’s schedule for the last Premier League game is insane, and gaining those points, as well as winning some extra ones seems rather difficult.

The last encounter between the teams ended with Everton’s win, 2-1, when Everton managed to come from behind, and score twice in two minutes to win and consolidate their place on the table. Hoping they do the same this time around, I’m going to bet 7 units on their win, with 2.15 units from bwin. The game will start this Saturday, on the 20th of April, at 15:00, GMT+1.
