Tottenham vs. Manchester City

Rare were the occasions when winning a bet brought me so much joy, as was this case. With Tottenham Hotspur’s superb 3-1 victory achieved against Manchester City, I won the bet I placed at IBCBET at 3.20.

In my latest prediction, I mentioned that this match was probably Tottenham’s most important match of the season so far, since a victory would have proven their true value in the English Premier League table. Against all odds, this time I chose to invest all my trust in their strength, self-confidence and finally their ability to win over Manchester City.

Also, just as I have intuited, this match was amazingly spectacular, mostly because of the unexpected, triumphal end of the match. For 75 minutes, the result of this game seemed to lead to what all bookmakers predicted: a Manchester City’s fade win. Manchester’s first goal, scored just 5 minutes after the start of the game. Their superiority and comfortable movements from the first half were complete; but Tottenham revived spectacularly about only 20 minutes before the end of the match.

Each of Tottenham‘s three substitutes played a role, while the switch to a 4-3-3 formation allowed the team to chisel out a foothold, which turned into something glorious. It would be unfair not mentioning about goalkeeper Hugo Lloris’s contribution, saved the near-goal of Edin Dzeko.

In the 75th minute of the match, everything changed when Clint Dempsey brought the balance on the scoring table. Still, who would have thought that Dempsey’s goal was just the beginning of another astonishing 15 minutes? Four minutes later, Defoe brought his team the second goal. At that point, Tottenham were already unleashed, but the man of the match was Gareth Bale. The stadium dissolved into frenzy when, in the 82nd minute, he scored his 23rd goal of the season, which was also the clinching moment of the match.

Result:+11 units, bet won
